The 'WONDEROUS' town of Burnley

Sadly, Hospital Radio Rossendale closed its doors in April 2010 after broadcasting to the staff and patients of Rossendale General Hospital for the last twenty-one years. Following the Hospital Broadcasting Associations rules and model constitution, all the equipment had to be offered to other Hospital Radio Stations free of charge. Also any funds held by the charity or not for profit organisation have to be donated to charities and, or other good causes.

Hospital Radio Burnley took delivery of a few studio accessories from the Rossendale studios and after totting up the cash in the Rossendale radios coffers, made a donation of £1684.57p

Burnley Football Club 'Dared to Dream' and successfully won promotion to the Premiership, with a spectacular win at Wembley against Sheffield United on the 25th May, 2009.

This song was written by 9 year old Jasmine Clarkson and her Guitar teacher Andrew Robert Gilmour. Jasmine wanted to write the song in memory of her late Grandfather, who was a life long Burnley fan.
