Hospital Radio Burnley

I joined HRB in 1995 after being in a mixture of bands, groups, trios and duos for 27 years. I decided to 'hang up my drum sticks' and the natural progression was radio broadcasting. Married to Yvonne, I have two children??? (30 and 29)..Wendy and Dean and a grandchild...Konnor (8), who is a much sought after jingle maker for the station....

I became the treasurer in 1999 and progressed to studio manager. Sorting out the rabble at the studios and keeping the website looking prim and proper...(I haven't a clue what I'm doing...please keep your comments to yourself)

I Broadcast a couple of programmes each week:

Friday: 'Your music' ~ 6.00pm - 7.00pm.
'Rocky Shorr's Wall 2 wall 60's' ~ 7.00pm - 9.00pm.

Saturday, as anchorman on the sports programme 2.00pm - 6.00pm.

Sunday, 12.00noon - 1.00pm with my long suffering co-presenter Jim Askew. This programme is called...JABS. A little play with words...Jim And Bryan Show, and we like to inject a little light heartedness and fun into Sundays.
