Hospital Radio Burnley

Tony Edwards..."Tall, Dark and...well, two out of three ain't bad!"

Right from a very early age, the idea of sitting behind a desk and playing music, chatting and presenting different features has appealed to me. So when the opportunity came along to do some voluntary work for Hospital Radio Burnley, I jumped at the chance.

Broadcasting heroes of mine include...Kenny Everett, Steve Wright, Terry Wogan, John Dunn, Johnny Walker and Bryan Sisson.

I try to pack as much as I can into my shows...Guess The Year...On this day in History...Magical Motown Memories...A comedy spot, Local folk artist, Sing-a-long a Tony time plus many more. I also present shows with special guests from around the north west and ask them to pick their ten favourite pieces of music. Each piece of music will have special memories attached to them. This culminates in an entertaining insight into the guest.
